And just on the topic of railway enthusiasts, this is not the nameplate from an engine, it's the Nameplate and badge of HMS Illustrious

What are you talking about 'Anonymous'?... This is the nameplate of Class 50 locomotive. 50037 was named Illustrious at Laira Depot, Plymouth, on 8th June 1978, the crest was added later on 27th May 1982 by Captain Slater of the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious. The nameplate and crest were removed when the locomotive was withdrawn from service in September 1991.
